Capabilities
AND Safety

Alabama Total Fiber Solutions was built by people who have spent decades in the field, not in a boardroom. We know what it takes to deliver outside plant fiber infrastructure on time, safely, and to spec.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES

What We Self-Perform

ATFS owns every discipline below as one accountable scope, engineer to closeout. No phase of an outside plant deployment is subcontracted out again, which gives prime contractors a single accountable team across Alabama and Tennessee.

Engineering and Design

We complete route planning, permit drawings, make-ready engineering, and material take-offs in-house before construction begins. Our design work is built to be constructed to the drawing, with one accountable owner from design through build.

Quality Inspections

We document quality inspections at every project phase, from placement through final acceptance. Primes receive a complete quality record at project closeout.

Traffic Control

Traffic control on ATFS jobs is planned as part of the scope and run to ATSSA standards.

Aerial and Underground Construction

ATFS delivers complete aerial and underground plant across all terrain types, including strand and lash, directional boring, trenching, and conduit installation.

Fusion Splicing and Testing

ATFS delivers single-mode and ribbon fusion splicing with bi-directional OTDR testing. Every splice point is documented and delivered to the prime's specification.

Project and Material Management

One project lead owns the full project and material management lifecycle, from scheduling and procurement through crew coordination, reporting, and closeout.
