Engineering and Design
Route planning, field survey, make-ready engineering, and permit drawings for aerial and underground builds. ATFS prepares material take-offs, construction drawings, and as-built documentation in-house.

Aerial Fiber Placement
ATFS installs aerial fiber on existing pole infrastructure across Alabama and Tennessee. We handle strand and lash, make-ready coordination, NESC clearance verification, and in-house traffic control on every aerial deployment. One owner, full aerial scope.
03.
Underground Fiber Placement
Directional boring, trenching, conduit installation, and cable pull-through across all terrain types. ATFS manages right-of-way permitting, utility coordination, and 811 compliance on every underground deployment.
04.
Fusion Splicing and Testing
Single-mode and ribbon fusion splicing with bi-directional OTDR documentation delivered to prime spec. Every splice point is tested and recorded before project closeout. Certification records available for prequalification.
05.
Project and Material Management
One project lead manages scheduling, material procurement, crew coordination, and prime reporting from kickoff through closeout. Primes work with a single point of contact across the full OSP deployment scope.

Our Deployment Process
01.
Survey and Engineering
Route survey, field verification, and construction drawings completed before mobilization. Permit packages prepared for ALDOT, municipal, and utility crossings.
02.
Permitting and Coordination
Right-of-way permits, utility coordination, and 811 locate compliance managed internally. No prime involvement required in the permitting process.
03.
Construction
Aerial strand and lash or underground boring, trenching, and conduit installation, with traffic control coordinated on every deployment.
04.
Fusion Splicing
Single-mode and ribbon fusion splicing at every connection point. Splice enclosures installed and sealed to manufacturer and prime specification.
05.
Testing and Inspection
Bi-directional OTDR testing and optical power measurement at every splice point. Results documented and delivered in the format specified by the prime.
06.
Project Closeout
As-built drawings, test reports, permit closeout packages, and quality inspection records delivered before final acceptance. Full documentation, no missing records.
